Astounding
The rings in the music make it so different in meaning....do you do these in Photoshop? Because they look like cloth!

Thank you! I generally draw using pen and ink and colour my work digitally in photoshop using a mixture of flat colours and textures.
Best,
Ben
You've got it!
I wish that I had someone as clever as you to show me around coloring in PS like this. Incredible. Between this and "A Wolf At the Door", you've got some great concepts floating around. I love it! It's clean, and pleases the eye. Did you use a tablet?
I don't understand...
Did you draw this in Photoshop...because I think that qualifies it as digital art...or "other" rather than "fine art". I like it, tho...shiny.
I think I misunderstood the words: fine art.
I fixed the category, thx for the help. :)
And for the review + the 7 :P
Nahhh
Don't like it. That's the ugliest kid I've ever seen. I'm not saying it's badly drawn....mostly.....but I am saying that it's irritating and pretty gross. But you're 13, so you've got a long time to work that out. You are very talented for being so young.
Really? I just thought his eyes are kinda of, but other then that I like it....
But you're review is appreciated :)
Vivid
This is quite vivid in choice of colors and contrast. The octapus looks like he is wearing sunglasses. The really interesting thing in this piece is indeed the acrylics. They are so bright! The squiggly detailing used here is much different than the edgey, crispy look of the video game profiles.
Thanks, I try to do the piece in whatever ever style feels right for what I'm drawing, for example with the video game covers everthing I was drawnig seems to be made of metal so it felt right, however this is much more organic, so it was much easier to use paint.
Beautiful
Perfect in choice of medium. Tthe way you have textured some things reminds me of old man Vince Van Gogh. This picture makes me feel nice.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Best,
Ben
I love it
This is the most creative thing I have seen in a little while....cyborg, eh? It looks like it almost feels...or that it did.
The colors all compliment each other very nicely. Can't wait to see more!
I don't think you drew this
I think you pretty much traced it in Photoshop and added some filters.
Highly Intense
Beatiful composition in general. Just great, excellent use of effects. Those flames are very convincing, giving the monster a sense of motion. The warm colors make me think "volcanic cave". Accentuating the muscles of a non-existent beast isn't easy, nor is drawing such a contorted figure. Even though it's obviously based on a bull (including smoke nose-ring), it is still difficult to make it seem so...mystical?
I think you've done a really good job, the only thing that throws it off is the one stalagmite in front of the monster's head...which, now that I've had a look really plays tricks on me...it is the only confusing part of the entire piece....which is still conveyed extremely well, nonetheless.
I just have trouble placing it's face.
I want to just give you the benefit of the doubt, however, because as a whole the composition is beautiful, and it seems like the beast is almost being lifted from the ground...or just dropping in...either way, I think this could work as an action....so I won't hassle you for the face!!
The perspective is wrong
The perspective is split between the tall character and the purple one....and they all sort of look like those metal balloons you buy that are shaped like things. And the bird's feet look pretty ugly, I must say. In fact, all of the characters are sort of unappealing. I don't really like this much, the composition itself is sort of ugly.
I have seen the cartoon this is from, and seeing this would not make me want to watch it. Granted, you might have the DESIGN of the characters down, but the COMPOSITION of this piece is bad, dig?
I love to draw and make music!
